Job Title: Team Lead – Audit & Assurance

Location: Mumbai

Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA)

Experience: 8–10 Years Post Qualification Experience (PQE), preferably from reputed Indian Big CA Firms

Role Summary -

We are looking for an experienced Audit & Assurance professional to lead statutory and internal audit engagements for listed and unlisted entities. The candidate will manage a team of 3–5 professionals and independently handle assignments from planning to completion and reporting while working closely with Engagement Partners and Senior Management.

Key Responsibilities-

1. Lead and execute statutory audit and assurance engagements.
2. Manage and mentor a team of 3–5 audit professionals.
3. Ensure compliance with Ind AS, AS, Standards on Auditing, Companies Act, and other regulatory requirements.
4. Review audit documentation, reports, and governance communications.
5. Present audit findings to management, Audit Committees, and Boards.
6. Drive quality, efficiency, and timely completion of assignments.
7. Conduct audits in ERP environments such as SAP, Oracle, and Tally.
8. Leverage technology, data analytics, and AI tools including ChatGPT to enhance audit effectiveness.

Desired Skills-

1. Strong technical knowledge of Ind AS, AS, Standards on Auditing, and financial reporting.
2. Experience in handling large and medium-sized audit assignments independently.
3. Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Office.
4. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
5. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to drive accountability and team performance.
